At the age of 6, he learned musical instruments like violin and piano. He had to give up sports after suffering from chronic arthritis which rendered him immobile at the age of Stevie Wonder inspired him to learn the harmonica at the same time period.
Later on, he was also inspired by Bob Marley for whom he also wrote a song &#;Mon père spirituel&#;. Christophe Maé began his career as a pastry chef after obtaining his CAP pastry chef training and working for his parents&#; bakery in Carpentras for a while before giving it up.
His first musical appearance was on the show Graines de star as a performer of Jamiroquai&#;s song, Virtu
