Biography of Koloman Moser
Koloman Moser was an Austrian artist and graphic designer, and one of the founders of the Vienna Secession.
He was also known for his designs of various objects, including graphic works, stained glass, ceramics, glass, and furniture.

Koloman Moser was born in Vienna, Austria. His father, Josef Moser, was the director of a gymnasium.

After completing school, Koloman Moser secretly took the entrance exam for the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in 1885. He studied under Franz Rumpler (1886-1889), Christian Gripenkerl (1889-1890), and Matthias von Trenkwald (1890-1893).
After his father's death in 1888, Moser had to finance his own education by creating numerous illustrations for magazines.
